Parents Convene Transportation Forum
Cancellation of RTA #722 Special Route
August 24, 7 p.m. Noble School

To cut down on costs, RTA cancelled Bus Route #722 at the end of the 2009-’10 school year.  This route serviced students in the Oxford-Noble area and took them to and from the high school. 

Families interested in learning more about the RTA cancellation, the school district’s transportation policy, and other possible options are encouraged to attend a transportation forum for parents.  It will be held August 24, 7 p.m. at Noble School.

The forum will include RTA representative Erica Arnold, who will talk about the history and rationale for the cancellation, other RTA route options, and discount fare opportunities. CH-UH Director of Business Services Steve Shergalis will talk about the district’s transportation policy and history.
